Hello! I'm a User Experience student passionate about crafting seamless digital interactions. When not immersed in academia, I bring creativity to life through video editing.

My days are also filled with serving at a breakfast spot, perfecting the art of customer experience. Off-duty, you'll find me cherishing moments with friends and embracing opportunities to learn and grow in the dynamic world of technology and design.

Designing a digital communication tool for sexual assault support centers

Project Overview

How can we enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of communication among sexual assault support centers using a digital tool?

Our team included UX designers Shaina Gardose, Reilly Gear, Harpuneet Bhatia, and myself.

Research

Map Technology

• Evaluated the impact on web accessibility and organizational communication.

Website Design

• Researched vital aspects of website design, emphasizing communication preferences, security, and data mapping.

Website Security

• Drew secure development recommendations from diverse sources to ensure accessibility for all users.

Interviews

• Interview with the coordinator of SAC volunteer programs was arranged. ​

• User testing was done on 15 people.

Prototype Process

Discovery

• No unified platform exists that enables staff members to communicate with each other. ​

• After conducting research and gaining feedback, a straightforward UX format will be optimal for all users.

Design

• Implementing an account-based system, enabling each center to contact and access information about the other centers.

• Utilizing a digital map to view services based on filters. ​
